Is a GP referral Letter necessary?
A GP referral letter is not usually necessary for cosmetic procedures, as the costs are not covered by the NHS or private health insurance.
It is best to have a GP referral letter for dermatology conditions, especially if you wish to claim through your own private health insurance or if it is likely that you will need ongoing care from your own GP.
